There isn’t any apple syrup per se at Starbucks. Apple brown sugar syrup features in Starbucks drinks seasonally.
While the apple juice is more natural as it’s made from apples only, the syrup is sweeter and has a more concentrated flavor.
Another difference is that apple juice is used as a base for a beverage to give a distinct apple flavor. Apple brown sugar syrup is mixed into drinks to add more sweetness and flavor.

To order it, ask for lemonade for the first line, and apple for the second line. Then ask for peach syrup – 3 pumps for Tall, 5 for Grande, and 7 for Venti. Whoa, that’s a whole lot of syrup!
You can always ask for less syrup to be added if you’re counting calories.

This beverage is an ode to the winter season. It consists of an equal mix of steamed apple juice and hot Passion Tango tea. The cinnamon dolce syrup is added to bring in the holiday vibe. Ask for 3 pumps for Tall, 4 for Grande, and 5 for Venti.
The whipped cream topping is garnished with cinnamon dolce sprinkles and graham cracker crumbles to add some crunch.

Start with a Venti Kiwi Starfruit Starbucks Refreshers Iced beverage. Customize by adding apple juice. There’s no apple syrup as such but there is a seasonal apple brown sugar syrup among the many syrups that Starbucks uses. Then ask for light lemonade to top it off.

Get the best of both worlds with this apple chai from the Starbucks secret menu. Instead of ordering a hot chai tea, start by asking for a Tall steamed apple juice. Then ask for 2 pumps of extra hot chai to be added to the apple juice. If you’ve ordered a Grande size, ask for 3 pumps.
If you want to bask in pure apple and chai bliss, avoid the whipped cream topping as I do!
To add light flavor and sweetness to the drink, I sometimes ask for a pump or two of toasted vanilla syrup.
